Did anyone have a negative hpt test even though they missed their period ?
Where you pregnant ? How long after missed period did it take to get a positive test?
Did you get the metalic taste in your mouth ?
Dose your CM increase when pregnant ?
Are you more prone to headachs ?
atr yeast infections common in early pregnancy ?

damn people ar erude here . I am 23 and when i put hpt thats what i meant. and i am lomg done with high school , 12 semester hours left at the university .

Supposedly most preg. tests will show with a fair degree of accuracy pregnancy a day BEFORE your period is due. So, you should have definitely shown a positive after you were already late.

However, like everything else in the world, nothing is foolproof. Try another one in a few days. Take urine from the first morning's urination (HCG levels {the hormone HPT look for} are most concentrated then).

Some subtler clues to pregnancy I had (and didn't know were signs at the time, cuz I didn't have any morning sickness) are:
*headaches,
*foods taste and smell funny (yes, a metallic taste can be a
symptom),
*EXTREMELY sleepy (not just tired, but very drowsy) almost
all the time,
*much more frequent urination, and
*sharp leg pain (this is called sciatic nerve pain and it tends
to happen/start in the 8th week or so, if it happens at all).

Yes, yeast infections can also be common, though a yeast infection is far from an indication of pregnancy. Any condition that can cause the vaginal flora to change, preg. being one of many, can cause yeast infections.

If you still are getting negative tests within the next few weeks, you can consider going to a clinic or doctor and getting a blood test. They are far more sensitive (that's what I ended up doing), and may catch what a HPT can't.

Yes. I took a home pregnancy test (an early sign one) about 3 days after my period was due because my periods are normally like clockwork.

It came back negative.

3 days later my period hadn't started so I took another, it came back "undetermined".

I ended up taking 5 tests total 1 negative, 2 positive and 2 undetermined. I finally just went to the doctor...

I never got the metallic taste, but I did have sore breasts, an upset stomach and headaches at first.

I don't know about the yeast infections.

ummz i got a negative hpt and i stell believe i may be pregnant i went to the dr. today and they did a blood test i should have the results in a few days but neways alot of people dont get a positive result until after 6 weeks my friend didnt get a positive result until she was 12 weeks i guess it depends on your body. And with the symptoms of pregnancy every body is different and every pregnancy is different. If you are worried go see your dr blood tests are more relaible then a hpt

A MISSED PERIOD IS NOT THE ABSOLUTE DIAGNOSIS OF PREGNANCY. it just is one of the many signs. stress,fevers,a heavy work load...all of this can lead to missed period,nnot to mention any hormonal change.as for metalic tastes,certain medicines,antibiotics/painkillers cause it. very rarely does pregnancy. headaches during pregnancy ie if you are pregnant could be the first sign of an elevated blood pressure. at the same time worrying over whther you are pregnant is a sure way to get a headache. how many hpt's did you try? if in doubt try 2/3 different brands or go to hospital/lab and get an urine preganay test done. they all cant be wrong

yes hun i got negative hpt's right up until i was 8 weeks with my first,
then i was 5week late with this one and still getting negative hpt's so had a blood test done at my doc's and that came back positive.
when i had my blood's back it showed my hcg level was 34 which is very very low,so maybe you have a low hcg level also,as not everyone produces alot of hcg,i havent with both my pregnancies,some people do some dont everyone is different.

I knew both times i was pregnant though even when i was getting neg results,so just trust your instinct if you think your pregnant then you more than likely are,its our bodies,so they must know.
Metalic taste-yes with my 2nd
cm increase-yes
headache's-i spent 6 weeks with a constant headache everyday it was hell
Yeast infections-yes havent had one this time round but sufferd with them with my 1st.

im sure you have heard everyone if different. and just cuz you miss your period does't always mean your pregnant, you could get going through a lot of stress, if your weight has changed (a big change) anything can cause you not to have one. take another test if you already took one and it came out neg. tests are very dependable. but as long as you take more then one. i would suggest best 2 our of 3. so from there.
