I couldn't say, maybe they are making sure you really are. I'm a vegetarian too and no one ever watches me eat after I tell them I am one.

As a non vegetarian I worry about the health of those who are. People may be watching you because they are worried for you.

Hey MB aint nothing wrong in eat veggies.. Heck fire I had mustard greens and a rutabaga for dinner and NO MEAT..and dang was it good. Tell them it aint none of their business what you eat. I love veggies and if werent for hubby I would eat em all the time. Thumbs up to you gal. PEACE for veggies.

They could be curious about whether you are enjoying your "rabbit food" or curious about vegetarianism in general. I'm veg too & occasionally I'm the 1st one that someone has ever met, so I've had all kinds of reactions.

maybe there not use to being around a vegetarian and want to see what you eat and how you eat it............they might be so use to regular foods when they see someone not eating the same thing they are they tend to watch them....
