Without more context, it's hard to answer this. However, in general, life is what you make of it, and your situation is no exception.

Sometimes there is an underlying disappointment, frustration, anger, or need that isn't being met, and that can gnaw away at a person, causing emotional pain that DOES feel like your heart is broken. This may make what is otherwise "nothing to be upset about" feel catastrophic. And more times than not, if it FEELS broken, it is--or becomes so quickly.

If there is truly nothing wrong in your life, you may be suffering depression. Clinical depression is about chemical imbalances in the body, and though they can be brought on by extreme life stresses, they can also be out of whack for no apparent reason. There are various treatments available and help can be easily sought.

If you can't go to a friend or family member, you can talk to your general practitioner doctor, or you can possibly call your customer service line (usually right on the insurance card) of your health insurance for a helpline to call. Many health insurances offer this to their subscribers.

Please do seek help. Depression can be treated and it is such a sad thing to let continue.

My heart goes out to you. Please take care.

You are not over that break-up.

You know the one. Don't pretend to be strong and healthy. You will end up hurting the next person.
Take time to get better on your own. Look through the phases of grief, you are in one of them.
