If he wants to change he can.

I will agree with the other answers to an extent but have to add this. To know whether a man will cheat again it is often necessary to know why he cheated in the first place. If there are problems in the marriage perhaps counseling will remove the reasons to cheat if the couple go to counseling, and the the marriage can be happy. If he is cheating for the thrill of cheating on the other hand, counseling will not work unless he wants to change his priorities and not be a cheater.
But then there is one other group that many ignore. A husband - or lets say person because the same can be true of wives - can have problems in a marriage and then someone comes along and tempts the person to cheat. This is a case of not being able to resist temptation but not necessarily a desire to cheat and with counseling perhaps this is the best chance of a marriage working out with counseling and love.
In all these cases, counseling and talking to each other is the only way to decide whether to try to save the marriage and if he is sincere in wanting to save the marriage then it may work if you decide to give him another chance.

It's rare, but possible. If he has cheated more than once, the chances of a turnaround get slimmer at every occasion. He would probably only realize the significance of changing his ways when he experiences a close encounter of the ultimate consequence to his decisions. If he truly cared and loved you enough, he would at least try to change, but sometimes it takes a push from you, or another loved one to improve his fidelity. If he has no remorse or continues without a second thought, your relationship will be a dead-end unsuccessful commitment.

Yes, he can change his ways, but will he. Some men can make a mistake, recognize it, and correct it. However, there is no way of telling for sure until he had proved himself over a long period of time.

If my better half EVER laid a hand on me i could be on the bus depot and be procuring him a cost ticket. A one way one at that. Your 'husband/abuser' is justifying your beatings with those he won as a toddler. that are decrease than no circumstances his fault or yours. No 'guy' ever has a reason to place his palms or throw products at his spouse/SO. end protecting up for him too, your in simple terms allowing him to be beating you, your telling him its ok for the reason which you wont go away and you wont do something to end him different than turning a blind eye at it. i do no longer understand why Your even staying, i do no longer understand what your thinking if your frightened proper to the toddler's protection you may've already left. i think the final you ca do is prep your self for extra actual/emotional/psychological abuse to come again, people by no skill exchange. & watch your toddler heavily its basically a count of time till now he isn't intersted in hurting you anymore for the reason which you do no longer exchange into in as plenty discomfort anymore. you think of that the police going there replaced right into a large adequate awaken call for you, your getting yelled at your toddler crying for help and you need to no longer even look after him. in case you rather have been frightened approximately your toddler, you will desire to go away. DONT US A ULTIMATUM! they do no longer artwork, elementary SCENSE

I totally agree with the previous answers. A man can change, but only if it's something he really, truely wants to do, and it's not always easy. You can't make him, he has to be willing to do the work. But CAN he do it, oh yes.

he can possibly change his ways. i doubt it would be for the sake of others, though. i think it would be because he decided to be an honest person. and realized the true value of what he has - meaning his wife and family.

Yes, if that is truly what he wants to do. But he has to want to do it. No one can make him change.
