Optimistic or pessimistic?
Personally speaking...
For friends I try to be optimistic...but inside I like to think pessimistically, so that negative things come I won't be as hurt as much as I would if I always thought this would turn out for the good.

its not that i enjoy it, but being pessimistic just tends to work out better for me, and it takes too much effort to be optimistic on the outside, so i just settle for only being pessimistic on the inside and pretty much neutral on the outside to my friends and stuff

Being optimistic never worked out for me.

I definantly don't 'enjoy' being optimistic or pessimistic but I'm pretty pesimistic although sometimes I try and act optimistic in front of my friends.

I don't enjoy being a pessimist, I just am. It's easier because you don't expect anything..lol
