Yes there are other galaxies. UFOs could, but we don't know. Reason? They are Unidentified. If we knew what they were they would be FOs.

There are billions of other galaxies, each with billions of stars. Our own galaxy has between 200 billion and 400 billions stars, so no need to go millions of light years to another galaxy to find life. Life of some form could exist in our own solar system, in systems of nearby stars, or anywhere in our own galaxy.

As for aliens visiting Earth, there is no physical, provable, definitive proof or evidence that extraterrestrials are here (or have been in the past).

I have seen a number of UFOs in my life - all that means is that I didn't know what it was. That doesn't mean that something that you can't identify is an alien piloting a flying saucer from some other galaxy. There are other, reality-based explanations for a lot of inexplicable things we see.

I think you may be confusing the term "galaxy" with "solar system". A galaxy is a vast "star city" hosting many millions, billions or even trillions of stars. Our own galaxy is called The Milky Way and may be host to many millions of solar systems like our own. A solar system is what we call our Sun and all its orbiting planets, comets and other assorted debris.

There are approximately 100-150 billion stars in our galaxy alone. However, our galaxy is but one of countless billions in the universe. Given the size of the universe there is every chance that most galaxies contain life bearing planets, with perhaps intelligent, advanced civilisations living on some of them.

In terms of UFOs though, you have to appreciate the truly gargantuan distances that separate the galaxies as opposed to the stars (which are still very far apart from one another). The nearest star to the Sun is called Proxima Centauri which is just over 4 light years away. That means if you travelled at the speed that light travels - 186,000 miles per second - it would still take you four years just to get to our nearest stellar neighbour.
However, the nearest large galaxy, Andromeda, is over two MILLION light years away. Given those kind of enormous distances and the fact that there are so many stars in our own galaxy, it is more probable to assume that any aliens visiting Earth would originate from within our own galaxy. I would stick my neck out further and say that they are most likely to come from a star system within 100 light years of our own, which in galactic terms is in our back yard.

There are literally hundreds of billions of other galaxies out there. We in the milky way have about 400 billion stars, and we are just one galaxy... you do the math on how many stars that makes! If even just a tiny tiny tiny % such as 0.00001% has life, that would still mean hundreds of millions of forms of intelligent life!

So yes, I believe that aliens exist, though I can't say for sure if we as humans have ever seen any.
