How do I find a man to be a father? (don't laugh)?

how do I find a young man who want to be a GOOD father? I'm in my late 20's living in the northeast. Virgin and very little dating experience. but want to be married and MAYBE have kids but would need to find a male with good qualities (educated, employed, sensitive but masculine). how to go about finding decent men for dating? Don't LOL at this.

*my friend tell to just find any attractive man who single and have child with him. he will fall into line later. is that true?

Your friend is very wrong. You need to be more social, join some groups or activities, placing yourself where you are available to meet someone, or on-line dating although be very cautious. Keep in mind there are many predators who take advantage of women as you have described yourself. Please don't settle for anyone to have a child with. It is better to be alone and childless than with a non-loving men you will be connected with for the rest of your life through a child. Do this along with prayer, he will come when the time is right. well, i think its great that you know what you want. take your time at finding the right person and dont settle for less than what you want.
join a social group, church,or you could try an online dateing service ( I like eharmony)
I read someone elses suggestion about gettin a puppy and taking it for walks - depending on where you live, thats a good idea as well,

I actually think this is a great question! You are thinking about your future and what you want - that's awesome and usually comes too late for many women.....

What are you interested in? Join social activities with your interests or religious activities that share your beliefs and keep searching until you find just that man....

i'm going to suggest both a dating service or church. with the dating service you get to pre-select people who meet your criteria and they select you too, so you have a mutual approval from the start. it's better than knowing nothing about someone.

then there's church. you can go to a Unitarian-Universalist church if you don't get into the faith thing. pretty much, you can feel out someone first from their reputation. you know they probably at least have good intentions, or they wouldn't bother going to church to look for guidance.

Get a puppy to love, you will need to walk this puppy of yours, go to parks (that allow dogs) with your puppy for a day of fun, there are nice men there with there dogs, if a man is loving towards his dog he will be the one for you.
