You should wear a conservative outfit in a dark color. Black is always shown, but dark gray or navy would also be appropriate.

A black skirt that isn't short with a dark-colored shirt and a black sweater over it will work, or a dark dress with matching sweater. Just make sure you're not wearing anything revealing, since it's likely that there will be a memorial service in a church or temple.
For shoes, go with flats or low-heeled pumps.
You might want to wear tights as well.

Hi,
You should wear all black, a collar and longish sleeves. Very plain clothes dont show any leg ,arm's or chest, (and remember its not a fashion show) the reason not to show too much skin is back in the days it was considered 'harlotish' to even show ankles, and upper arms. pretty strict dressing. good luck - oh and keep make up to a minimum no red lipstick )

Any variety of entertainment could be disrespecting in direction of the relatives with the loss. additionally it is beneficial to get a headscarf to conceal your hair (no longer mandatory yet very well mannered). wish your father in regulation will recuperate.

1] color - black; second choices could be gray, espresso, navy, dark green. Do not add bright colors - a light neutral blouse would work.
2] modest - no cleavage, bare arms or shoulders, knee length skirt or dress. Trousers are also OK.
3] clean, modest hair, jewelry, makeup.[ wear waterproof eye makeup ].
4] bring a purse with tissues, and ibuprofen or Tylenol [ crying gives people headaches. ]

To a funeral you should definately where black or another darck colr like navy blue. Remember to be modest being sexy has its place but not at a funeral. You can punch in some color into your outfit by addding colorful shoes or a different color lacy cami underneath your clothes that way your not wearing all black

I know these are kinda expensive but just to give you an idea of what to look for
Or you could wear a black shirt and black pants or a black shirt and a black shirt.
I am sorry about your loss
