I'm making a CD for a resident at a nursing home who likes to sing. I've got things like "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" and "My Darling Clementine", but I need a few more and keep drawing a blank. Any suggestions?

Some old rock and roll - Elvis, Bobby Darin, Fabian, Pat Boone, The Platters, Little Richard, Fats Domino, etc. The people in the nursing home most likely would have listened to 50's or 60's music.

try some 40's standards and big band music, thats pretty much what they would have listened to along with some 50's songs too:
Someone To Watch Over Me
Tennessee Waltz
It Had To Be You
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy
Night And Day
You Are My Sunshine
They'll Be Comin Around The Mountain
The Way You Look Tonight
Harbor Lights
Twilight Time
Sentimental Reasons
Dont Sit Under The Apple Tree
Dont Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes
Doggy In The Window
