If you have something that is 90% good and 10% bad, should you focus on the good and loving the situation you are in or the bad and improving the situation that you are in? Doesn't it make sense that people who focus on improving the bad get further in life and become more successful and people who focus on the good just become complacent? However, who wants to focus on negative all the time... that would be a sad.

I think that you should focus on the positive, but always be aware of the negative. If all you do if focus on the positive, you might already be in a negative situation. Even though, you should live life to the fullest and enjoy it!

The positive side of things brings you far than the negative.

To be focused in positive aspects of life can make you feel and be more creative and deal with the negative stuff better than if the balance is backwards.

Being successful is an attitude and doesn't necessary goes with the positive I would change the word for Optimistic, to be positive or negative can vary really in how things are going for you, but being optimistic... is a way of living life, if things are good you enjoy and cheer but if they are bad ... you cheer that they are not worst ;) and keep moving on.

Generally you learn more from mistakes than from doing something good at the first time, but to have an optimistic mind or perception about life can make it easy and enjoyable.

With the odds of 90/10 I would definitely focus on the positive. 100% is just not realistic.
