If your gunna touch it to put it up, then you can touch it to put it down too. I don't even see the point in putting it up. Leave it down & if ya miss then wipe it off the seat with toilet paper & flush. It's not that hard.

UGH....I realize it's not hard to put it down. But there is really no reason to put it up in the first place if you pee on the seat wipe it off w/toilet paper & flush it.

I actually do put it down if I know there is a woman in the house but it really isn't that big a deal is it?

No, it's really easy to put a toilet seat down. So why does anyone complain that they find it up and have to put it down? If it's so easy why whine about having to do it?
Of course in my house we've put the seat AND lid down after seeing a scientific study which showed how droplets of contaminated toilet water are sprayed all over the room with every flush....

I've always argued this. If you can't leave it up for us, why would we put it down for you? And why don't you sit your nasty butt somewhere else besides our toilet? Go outside with your cycles and pee-parties. You can poop in your bedroom floor for all i care. I'll pee all over the toilet, the sink, the tub, wherever i want. Drop the seat with your foot and quit WHINING!

Or does this only apply when it suits you? I'm sure you are more than capable of putting the seat down yourself.
And we put it up so that we don't pee all over it and have you nag about that as well.

Don't get upset, I know its courteous to put it back down, but if we forget I'm sure you can do it without making it a world changing issue.... =P

Heres MY idea...I think the seat AND lid should be put own EVERY time...that way we both, men AND women have the same amount of "work" to do.

I disagree. It's no harder for me to put it back up than it is for you to put it down. In fact, it's easier for you because you have gravity to help.
Whereas, if I FIND it down, I have to lift it, then put it BACK down. So I have to move it twice, and you never have to do anything. Doesn't sound fair to me.
