I need to do a college paper for sociology and compare Weber's views and Durkheims views on recent topic?

It has to be on anything that interests me about society. I just feel so confused. It has to be 10 to 20 pages long. I am not sure how to go about doing this paper. I know I have to compare the two different views, but for some reason things aren't clicking in my brain on this one. Thanks.

Try power and authority. There should be plenty of recent topics in the news (if that is what you mean).

Both of these sociologists wrote extensively on these topics.

Decide on an incident, brainstorm the subject, read extensively and decide how both men would have viewed the incident.

Write your introduction then compare and contrast the information. then write the conclusion.
