I need to do a college paper for sociology and compare Weber's views and Durkheims views on recent topic?

It has to be on anything that interests me about society. I just feel so confused. It has to be 10 to 20 pages long. I am not sure how to go about doing this paper. I know I have to compare the two different views, but for some reason things aren't clicking in my brain on this one. Thanks.

lay on the paper what you know ... read wikipedia ... that can always add some elements ... and read again ... and lay on paper skeleton ... imagining content ... read again ... go have the/cafe/beer with friends ... come back ... read again and write down new skeleton of text ...

and so on until you are +/- satisified ... then you write the text !
