Kate - there is a huge body of scientific evidence underscoring the health benefits of breastmilk. It's just not the same as cow. Add to that the incredible BONDING that goes on between infant and... wetnurse services provider.

By having them take hormones so they can lactate. They have all of the equipment.

Very funny question. I wonder if most men feel this is discrimination?
I guess the safe answer is to bottle-feed the baby with Similac or something. It is just that there are so many benefits to breast milk.

I dont think there was any discrimination against fathers. Though my friend's wife had god given breasts, she had no milk to feed their son, primarilyy due to her eating habits and way of growing up, I think. Hence they both shared the duty of bottlefeeding the infant.

LOL. A very cute comment, BTW. Maybe if men were busy breastfeeding their offspring, they would not have the time and energy to blame seasonal changes ( among other things ) on their wives.

I propose that any consequences that women suffer as a result of childbirth or mothering should be shared with the father, so as to avoid discrimination. Everything from gestational diabetes to placental abuption to stretch marks and saggy boobs. I just think nature is unfair to men and women are discriminating against men by keeping these experiences to themselves.

You are nuts. Is this a serious question? As soon as you get breasts that produce milk to feed the baby then more power to you. I'm sure every breastfeeding mother wished that they could have passed this duty on to the fathers every now and then.

Plenty of hormones, that'll get you lactating just fine..... Don't forget to express yourself.... Otherwise, it'll really start hurting.
Happy pumping!

You are right! Darn it....nature gave men the shaft on that one. Petition Mother Nature...she may change things around a bit! :) Cute question, thanks for the smile! :)
