A theory is a mathematical or logical explanation (or a testable model) of natural phenomena. It is able to predict future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and is capable of being tested (or disproved) through experiment and/or observation.

The laws of science are considered universal and invariable facts of the physical world. Laws of science may be disproved if new facts or evidence arise to contradict them.

A law differs from hypotheses, theories, postulates, principles, etc., in that a law is an analytic statement, usually with an empirically determined constant.
A theory may contain a set of laws or be implied from a law.

Theories CONTAIN laws and facts and observations. They not only predict, they explain. That said, do your own homework. Or at least try to word it so it's not so obviously your homework next time.

Either a theory or a law is a hypothesis that predicts a future event. A law, unlike a theory, has been so successful so often, that its predictions are not in doubt.
