Why do constellations look bigger as they rise over the horizon and they seem to shrink as they get closer to?

That's actually not the reason the moon appears larger. Popular, but incorrect.

For much the same reason the moon looks bigger when it is low in the sky. Your mind unconsciously relates the object with terrestrial objects around it, making it look larger than it actually is.

the contellations means the group of stars.the stars appear so small but they are big.like this
