Does the star on my forehead make me look distinguished and polished?

Distinguished, maybe yes. Not so many people have stars on their forehead. At least in YAP, I think you are right now the only one.
Polished? The star won't help.
But you don't have to be either distinguished or polished. You can be a rat and we will answer your question/s anyway if we find them interesting.

the star is okay but the forehead where the star rests is questionable.

it does stand out.... polished? nope.
i have heard that swallowing a sea coral whole can make you polished.
