I am going to apply to some schools that have ROTC programs, but i wanted to know if a person has a better chance at getting in if they are going to be in ROTC at that school.

I am going to apply to some schools this year that have the rotc program such as usc,emory, and ucla. I have a 3.6gpa, and i will be applying as a transfer student. What do you guys think?

Usually. Almost all extra activities help. Especially since ROTC helps with leadership and character building. It really depends on what college you want to go to and what they're looking for.

Yes, it opens up the chance for an ROTC scholarship. So a minor increase. Also it usually counts as an extra point or so for extra curricular, but so does softball and baseball etc.

Depends on the school.I believe generally it's a yes but it depends on other factors like grades too so it's not a for sure thing.
