the van with the saguisag's inside were rammed by a 10 wheeler dump truck in makati. rene's wife was killed in the accident and rene himself is in a critical condition.

ga, I was just talking to a friend (ex-officemate at DAP) and he informed me about this fatal vehicular accident. I'm really saddened by Dulce's untimely death...heard it was instantaneous. Even now, emails are coming in from Pinas about this tragic news. I understand, however, that a 3rd passenger (a female) is doing well. Yes, of course, I'll be praying for Rene's recovery and also for the repose of Dulce's soul (as she was a personal friend and a colleague) and their bereaved families.

I don't think you need to ask for our prayers. As Christians, we are bound to help those who need our help and prayers. Yes, we will all be praying for the full recovery of Rene Saguisag, will also pray that may God give him strength to face the future without his loved one beside him.

... but more so for Manette, an 11-yr old kid in Davao who committed suicide due to extreme frustration of their poverty-stricken life----father is in and out of job, Mom is a laundry woman (read Phil Daily Inquirer's front page today). Heartwrenching...
