if you write unjustified I would write about how it is just wrong to take someones life. You cannot kill what you did not create. It's easier to write that he was right though-

I'd say that he died with less pain than he would if he was caught by whoever, I forget. That theme was brought up once before in the book where they killed the dog.

If you want to say it was wrong killing him, I'd mention that the old dog still served a purpose for the old man. Like the dog, Lenny was Georges friend-

. . It's been a while since I read that book. But yeah, along those lines. Hope I helped a bit.

The "justified" team could tell you that George killing Lenny was justified because Lenny was a hazard to himself and other people, and the only way other people could be saved and for the both of them not to get into any more trouble was to kill Lenny.

You could go with the obvious to counteract their statement. You could explain that Lenny is a human being, just like everyone else, and the fact that Lenny has caused problems and killed Curly's wife does not mean that Lenny should be killed in order for no more problems to happen.

Lenny is a kind person who does not harm people purposely unless threatened (like in the case of Curly's hand) However, Lenny is feeble-minded and cannot comprehend his actions, nor the consequences that come from them. Lenny barely has a concept of right and wrong. You don't see mentally challenged people killed off for causing problems, but you do see them taken into special care, which is what George should have done for Lenny if he knew that Lenny would be too much for him to handle.

He wasn't justified because he is killing another human being. Not just any human being, but his best friend.

LOL... I had to do the same trial in High school. I liked justified better.

It was wrong of george to kill lenny because its his friend, and maybe he could've survived.

It was wrong of george to kill lenny because he was so gentle, but powerful, and he didnt mean any harm to anyone.

well i would suggest that it was unjustified as well

remeber
1. he was retarded
- so does that mean retards should get genocide?

2. he didnt know what he did
- how can you blame him for something he didnt even know he did

3. no trial at all
- no trial just killed by lenny

4. provacated by girl
- she was the one that was after him
