We don't want to pack our cocktail supplies in our luggage. We are staying at Bally's and we aren't renting a car. Would need to be in safe walking distance for 50 YO ladies. I don't think Walgreens or CVS sell alcohol.

Just about a block from Bally's is a strip mall. It's under the Monorail. There is a restaurant in there called Batista's. There is a liquor store in the same strip mall. I don't know the name but it's very close. My wife and I walked it when we were just there. About 2 minutes walking time.

Have fun!

Bill's Gamblin Hall is directly across the street from Ballys, there is a free shuttle to the Orleans from Bill's.

The Orleans is a little over 1 mile West of the strip on Tropicana, and takes about 10 minutes by shuttle.

This shuttle will save you a lot of walking.

"Terrible's Wine & Liquor" at the Orleans is the best place that I know to buy alcohol in LV. They quarantee to beat any price. Their prices are better than any I can find at home. There is a good reason for these low prices, the Orleans uses Terrible's as a "loss leader" to bring in the locals.

The Orleans is well worth a visit even without the added attraction of Terrible's. IMO they have one of the top three "best value" buffets in all of LV. The Prime Rib Loft is one the best for great steaks at a reasonable price. The Orleans Arena is home to the LV Wranglers hockey team and many other events. They have a very nice 18 screen movie theater. etc

The point is, you're not going to have to "bite the bullet" to save a little walking and money. The Orleans is a very nice hotel/casino to visit.

There is a small liquor store next to Flamingo, on opposite side of Bills Casino. Also a lot of the souvenir shops sell beer and such. If you ask your hotels concierge they should be able to advise you.

Have fun ladies.

Walgreen's sells alcohol because I have been to one on the strip and saw beer there.
