It's better to be honest about it. You don't have to go into all the details but she's bound to find out on her own and may feel like you were trying to keep it a secret for a reason.

You won't be hiding anything if you don't tell her. It happened a long time ago and it isn't any ones business. But I would take HIM aside and strongly urge him not to tell her also. It won't help the marriage or your friendship with her if she finds out and it won't hurt her feelings if she doesn't know about it. The key is to not feel guilty about the past relationship. Why? BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG! What if she does find out and feels betrayed? Be HONEST, and explain your reasons-didn't want to hurt you-it's no ones business-yes, I like him, but I don't love or lust for him-that was the past-etc. If she hangs on to it, now you have a problem you don't deserve, just because you were living your life the way you wanted to at the time.

No. After 5 years....... leave it in the past. Never bring it up again, and you need to forget it also.

No...it should never be told. The two of you weren't friends, and they weren't together so there's no reason to throw any uneasiness into the mix.

wouldn't tell her, it was before her time being his wife and before her time being your friend. Can't change the past.

I would leave it up to "him" to tell her if he felt she should know.
If he doesn't tell her, I wouldn't say anything ;)
