More of a snicker than a laugh really. As for strange bedfellows, yes politics is that way and the bed of hypocrisy is big enough for both of them and their friends. Not too long ago, during one of the debates, Ron Paul pointed out that a long history of US policies in the Middle East may have led to 9/11. Rudy was absolutely outraged, demanding that Ron Paul retract his statement.

Funny thing... Pat Robertson frequently proclaimed "America DESERVED 9/11", that it was God's way of punishing us for our sins," specifically homosexuality.

Rudy is pro-gay rights, as well as pro-choice. So who's the bigger hypocrite? Robertson for endorsing Rudy? Or Rudy for running with Robertson's endorsement?

It's politics baby. Rudy and Pat have nothing in common. But Rudy needs an Evangelical endorsement. Whether or not it will unlock the Evangelical vote en masse for him is yet to be seen.

And apparently Pat wants to push his party to support Rudy, which is flat ridiculous, because once he is president Rudy will be Rudy and not the guy sucking up to these folks for votes.

Evangelicals never learn...they need to be way more discerning when it comes to picking their candidates.

How does Rudy slot interior the image of Pat Robertson? Rudy has been married and divorced no longer basically as quickly as, he has turn flopped on the themes of immigration, gay rights, abortion, gun administration all costly themes to religious a procedures ideal. Has Pat incorporate new record of "kinfolk values?" i'm hoping Rudy nominates Larry Craig for his vice chairman.

No, Pat Robertson, a Republican, was going to endorse a Republican - the question was whom.

Apparently Robertson decided to endorse Giuliani.

He probably views it as a pragmatic choice. rudy has the best chance of winning.

As far as evangelicals are concerned mormons are cultists so Romney really is a non-starter.

If he had integrity he would endorse Huckabee, but why would we think Christian Conservatives have integrity.

No, because, like a whole lot of Americans the thought of a spineless, back paddling Liberal getting into office scares the crap out of him. We're in an all out war with people that want to kill us in the name of "allah". We need a strong leader like Giuliani. He's not going to take any crap from the terrorists and the Libs that support them.

Two people who yield a lot of power trying to tell the younger people how to live their life. They should get a life and let ours alone, and yes I did laugh but is is a little scary.
