1. 4(2) + 9(2) + 8(2) = 8 + 18 + 16 = 42
2. -6(2) + 11(2) - 2(2) = -12 + 22 - 4 = 22 - 16 = 6
3. -3(2) + 8 + 2(2) - 3 = -6 +8 +4 -3 = 12 - 9 = 3
4. 11(2) - 5 - 3(2) = 22 - 5 - 6 = 22 - 11 = 11
5. -13(2) + 15(2) - 6 = -26 + 30 - 6 = 30 - 32 = -2

its really rather simple. since x equals two then put it in for question one it would look like this
4x2=8
9x2=18
8x2=16
once you have these numbers then add them up which will look like this
8+18+16=42
for question 5
-13x2=-26
15x3=30
-6= is just simple negative six
your problem will now look like this
-26+30-6=-2

Remember your order of operations:
PEMDAS!
parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction
Figure out what to do for each problem.
Hint for #1, all are something x so you can just add them.
