Sounds like you have low blood(hemoglobin) count. Doctor can take just a drop of blood, (prick your finger) and find out.
He will give you a prescription for iron pills and you will feel lots better. This is not going to go away on its own. Please see your doctor. For some reason you are not getting enough oxygen in your blood stream. When that happens, the brain doesn't get enough either and you can start to feel as if you are going to pass out. Laying down can make it feel worse because your circulatory system slows down while you sleep. Also, I'm wondering if there's some sleep apnea going on here. That's when you don't get enough air in your lungs when lying down to sleep. The person wakes up frequently at night, unaware that they have stopped breathing for a few seconds then they suddenly catch their breath. And this cycles all night long. It can make for one exhausted man the next day! You really need to make an appointment with your Physician as soon as possible. He or she can refer you to a pulmonologist if he/she can't figure out what's wrong. Good luck.

There's this one "disease" that I've heard of where you sleep with an oxygen mask. I know someone who has it. Sorry for being so vague, but don't freak. If I'm right, which I might not be, I don't think it's anything horrible, just see your doctor. Sleep apnea is what it's called, but I might be wayyyy off.

Sounds just like sleep apnea. I know quite a few people that have it. They wake up and feel like they never slept is what most say. Usually they will do a sleep study on you and a PAP machine is used which keeps pressure to keep you breathing, but some people its caused by their tonsils and adnoids and they have them removed and they are fine.
