We need this fundamental tool to organize our activity. The first measure of time was to get up each day and when to sleep. Next would be seasons for hunting and crops. From there it just kept being refined to what we have today.

That's an interesting question...If time didn't exist or, if we all decided to live without time, we wouldn't have schedules and deadlines...Just imagine...
You would go to school after dawn, but that would be any time between 6 am and dusk...
Airplanes would take off, but people at the destination place wouldn't know when it'd arrive, unless their realtives or whoever called them to say that a plane was heading their way...
You would do the work you have to do at the office whenever, unless your boss actually said "do it now" !!!
We wouldn't celebrate birthdays, we'd only notice physical changes in people, like facial hair in teenagers, or graying hair in the elderly...
There wouldn't be anniversaries, calendars, or long term plans, unless we counted dawns (but that would be the beginning of time-measuring)...
We'd waste quite a lot of time keeping a daily watch on things that take some time to happen (like the birth of babies) because we wouldn't know how much we have to wait
I think we would end up postponing everything we don't consider important or necessary, and living very active days, doing the things we really need and want to do, and such days would be quite full of surprises...
Cavepeople probably lived like this...Nevertheless, it would be interesting to experience it in modern life...
COOL QUESTION, I ENJOYED ANSWERING IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting question?
Most people believe, we are born, we live, we love,we die!
So time is of the essence. They feel they have so much to
do and so little time to do all the things this life has to offer.
Life is short! But I believe in eternity! So time doesn't mean
the same thing to me anymore! I'm more at peace because I
know there is a day coming that we will live forever!!!
For those who want to.............!

How would you be able to organize. Hey lets all meet up tomorrow when the sun is 2/3rds threw the sky. We need time to get on the same page. How would you catch a train or a bus. HEY TIMING IS EVERYTHING

every thing we do is based on time and you know we'd be lost without it. i mean just think about it if we're late we'd go nuts and its time to do this and that and then you are doing somethign else. i mean its one thing or another. so there we couldn't live with out time and even back in old times they had sun dials. take care.

1. Time determines how much money you make.
2. Entropy. Humans have only a certain amount of time before they cannot make any more money.

We make it up to track sequences of events. Your time is not your gut microbes time or your dog's.
