Well, perhaps you and your gal could compromise? You could have "your space" (that she doesn't decorate) and she could have "her space." Rest assured that YOUR space will probably be the garage, and hers is likely to be the whole rest of the house.......lol.....sorry...couldn't resist adding that. But really, when you have company over, do you really want to entertain them all in a room filled with beer posters, baseball hats and elk heads on the walls? And if you do, maybe you can put the pool table in the garage, too, and make that room into your own entertainment area "just for the guys"? It's a thought.

Well that's an awful steriotype. Find a girl that likes to kick it like the guys.
Hey, I like pool and football and I'm fine with old raggety couches.
But the thing is, us women like things to look polished for others. When our parents, siblings, relatives, friends, or neighbors come over, we want our homes/ other things to look nice.
So just remember, guys like guy things, girls like girl things. You just need a little compromise.

I've heard its because woman do what animals (mainly dogs) do, they mark their territory. They do this by womanising a mans area to resemble what they want to live in. Even though its not there own living area, they have to make like that to feel 'at home'.
You can't stop it other than turfing them out. So either live with it or live without them! Your choice!
