You could, but becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), offers more duties and thus better wages per hour. My niece is an LPN and at one job she had, she was paid about $16-20 per hour. Of course, wages depend on where you live, where you work (hospital, medical clinic, or nursing home), and what your duties are and what your schedule is (overtime pays time and a half, so at $20 per hour normally, overtime would pay you $30 per hour).

Yeah you could. Like someone said before it depends on how much they pay you where you're hired. If you would want to make more money though, then you could consider becoming a PCT (Patient Care Technician). No matter what job you have it really all depends on how you budget, invest, and save your money.

I hear they make a little over minimum wage. I think it would depend on where you would get hired. I know of a couple of places that pay almost as much as LPN's.
