Sounds like a good deal for him if they put him in someone's home. Actually they charge you $12 a day or something while you are on house arrest for the ankle bracelet and all so I'm sure they wouldn't bother because of the expense alone.
Seriously though you should rent a Mel Brooks movie entitled "Life Stinks" he played a millionaire who made a bet he could live on the street homeless with nothing for a month. They put one of those house arrest things on his ankle and he was being beat up right by his limitation and getting knocked out of his designated area so he kept trying to come back into the boundries and they kept thinking he wanted "more" You have to see it its hillarious.

No offense, but this is a stupid question. you can't put someone without a home on house arrest. My uncle's a policeman and there is no way this could work out. They would find another way to punish this person, but they wouldn't put them on house arrest.

If you have no place to stay in that situation, they lock you up. House arrest is expensive, and they charge people who are on it with the bill.
