well she has a father that beats her . she finds out that her mama ran off from the family . she find the neighbors to be her only salvation in troubled times . it is a good book . good luck and god bless.

Well, I've read the book, and some of the main characters are beekeepers. So, the title actually makes sense. I enjoyed the read; it's an emotional story, but I thought it was a little too unrealistic .
