My dog has entered the stage where he is "sexually competent."

I don't want to get him neutered because I don't believe in it, so I was wondering what should I do about his situation?

Because as of lately, he's been acting very aggressive and hyper which is all due to him needing another dog for you know what.

So how am I so suppose to go about this? I can't just go up to another person with a female dog and ask "Can my dog hump your dog?" Or should I just leave him be?

You asked how to go about dealing with your dog that you do not wish to have neutered...you didn't ask for my opinion on whether or not you should have him neutered...tough question to answer when I am one that does believe in neutering my pets, for several reasons.

Males that are not fixed become very sexually distressed, which not only causes discomfort, but also causes an urge to be destructive, to roam and causes distractions.

Maybe you would consider rethinking your reasons for not neutering...I'm sure you love your pet very much and do not want him to be as uncomfortable as he is nor do you want him to become more aggressive and try to get out of the yard just to get his 'hump on.'

If you still do not want to neuter him, give him an outlet in which to use his sexual energies...get a female dog. A pillow, your leg or a stuffed animal just is not going to fulfill his natural urges.

Good luck!

My dog had that problem once. He decided his girlfriend would be my leg. It seemed to have spread over to me. So then I became "sexually competent." My wife had no problem getting me neutered, and I REALLY didn't believe in it. It made my singing voice a lot better, though.

I agree with most of the consensus on here. If your not going to use him as a breeder, then get him fixed. If he's aggressive towards other dogs and people you could find your self asking for trouble. Until you get him fixed buy him a big stuffed animal for him to use as his girlfriend. It works with my dog and he's fixed.

A responsible person would get their dog neutered.

If you never want to breed him, neuter him.. For his own good, your well being, and the protection to other dogs.

You really should have him fixed & until you do, put your pillow somewhere he can't reach it.
