My last Christmas with my dad. I was fifteen at the time and he had been going through Chemo for lung cancer. He risked getting sick to come and see my brother and I for christmas. It wasn't about what he gave me, but what I gave him and the fact that it was our last christmas that made this my favorite. I gave him a tape of me singing in a talent show earlier that year. I sand Bette Midler's "the Rose". I had no idea that it was his favorite song when I sang it, he cried when he listened to it. Later that night he wrote me a poem called "my Little Rose". He passed away two weeks later from pnemonia. That was 16 years ago.

I was about 4 and I had 2 older sisters, 6 and 8. The oldest and I woke up very early, it was still dark, and we sneaked into the room where the tree was and realized "Santa" had come. I couldn't believe he had come and eaten the cake my mom left. Excited, we went back to bed and waited until morning. I don't even remember how we fell back to sleep. My father, mother and middle sister are in Heaven now and for some reason, that Christmas has always stuck in my head.

Not sure how we were. It was the age of still believing in Santa Claus. We always had big get together at my grandpas (okay so I guess I was 7 cause I remember now cause grandma died). It was neat. Mom, dad, brother and I were walking out of Grandpa's house, my brother looks up in the sky, and see's this red light in the sky (he was 5) and goes "There's Santa Claus!" My mom and dad go "I guess we better get home then." It was a light from an air plane.
Another memory and this was when we were teenagers and this is mean but it was hilarious. We had Christmas at our house. There was one of my uncles, his now ex wife, their daughter, my uncle and mom's sister and our cousin, not sure who else. My mom's sister decided to sleep on the couch, we all thought it was rude, no one had any where to sit. My uncle comes into the kitchen where we all were. Now my brother and I are teenagers now. Anyways, my uncle goes "Someone should go running in there and jump in the middle of her!" My brother without thinking, goes running and screaming up to her, not jumping. Scares the you know what out of her. She gets mad, goes storming out of the house, We figure she made it to the next town, came back, goes to my mother (her sister) "It that was my kid I'd beat him with a broom!" Mom goes "Well he's not your kid!" She gets mad, takes all the gifts she bought and headed home. Yeah, was mean, it was funny, it was suppose to be a joke but she took it wrong. BUT if you knew my aunt you'd probably would of done it also. I always say that was probably one of the best Christmas's. Which its not true!!

I was probably about twelve or so and I got a new bike for Christmas. My brothers both got bikes too and we rode them outside in the snow on Christmas day. Not long mind you it was around twenty degrees, but we had great fun.

must have been 6 or 7, grew up in warm climate on an Island on the meditterenean, and one night my dad came and woke me up and said to go with him, put on a sweater and went outside, my eyes could not believe it, i was seeing and touching real snow! it would melt as it touched the ground but it still looked so pretty i will never forget that first time, i felt i was in wonderland, out of a storybook.
