Why do you keep only one? Or why do you have many?

I will select BA based on the answer to "Why".

I have 3.

One is for office use.
The other is for extra-curricular affairs. It is post-paid.
The last is also for extra-curricular affairs, pre paid. I use the second to load it.

The third is in an old, unattractive unit. If I use it in malls, no one will dare snatch it. If someone is foolish enough to snatch it, I won't bother since the load is always minimal, and the unit has value close to zero.

I have 2 Globe prepaid lines, along with 2 phone units.

My first number is used when people from the office call me up. It's the one I list 'publicly' as well (business cards, etc).

I have another number, with the same last 4 digits, for personal calls and for use when abroad (roaming).

Of course, family and other close contacts can get in touch either way.

It's advantageous as well to have a spare phone in some cases that my first one conks out (low battery) or runs out of prepaid credits.

Maybe though, if I am able to get a phone that accepts 2 SIM cards simultaneously, I'd settle for that -- 2 SIMs in 1 phone.

Up to present, i am using 2 mobile numbers, 1 is for business (only use to contact with customer), another is for personal use (keep it for friends and family).

Another reason is in case of one of the phone line being bar, i still can get another one to use.

I only keep 1 postpaid line under Globe Telecom. I used to have 2 number -my Globe and then Sun prepaid unlimited text/call, but it is such as hassle to maintain two.

i only maintain 1 because:
- maintaining more lines is more expensive;
- my Globe line works fine for me - unlimited text for a fee, has signal everywhere;
- practical;
- no need to have 2 phones (unless you have a myphone OR unless u want to switch sim cards every minute!)

Only 1.

And will never add a new one or change it. So that my relatives, friends, co-employees and some people that were close to me will not guess and get in trouble by wondering what number I am using.

I got 3-4 mobile phones but only use 1 or 2 of them. The others I'm planning to give them away to my loved ones who can't afford to buy a new one yet. I keep some coz of sentimental value since they are all gifts for me. <*-*>

I have only one cellphone.

And it is not registered, as required in the Kingdom. I bought the SIM at a much cheaper rate precisely bcuz it is not registered, rather than the registered ones.

And if I will settle for SIM due to cost, what more the unit?

I have three:

one line i use for my business contacts and new acquaintances

another line for family and friends

and a pre-paid one that nobody else knows about to text pranks and other demented stuff to people that i don't like. (some business contacts, new acquaintances, a couple of family members and a few friends are not spared from this pre-paid attack phone)

I'm a real life troll (but i'm not like that here in YAP) =)

i have 3: a globe one which is my personal number. i had this since i was in college. this is the number that i give to my relatives and friends.

a smart one which is my company postpaid phone. this is for my business contacts / corporate use.

a sun cellular one that i use to call my fellow sun cellular subscribers. my best friend is in davao and i have close friends scattered all over the country and it is cheaper to call them via sun cell than by long distance calls.

i have so many because: i can't let go of my globe SIM because it has sentimental value for me and in there are some mushy messages from special people. hehe!

the smart one was provided by my company and i just have to use it.

the sun cellular is convenient for calling my friends and make "telebabad" with them.
