Is there an anime with a main character who is blind?

I've been hoping for an anime with a blind character.
(No not not Naruto, please.)

Rezzo the Red Priest in Slayers is blind, and it becomes a major plot point. He's not a main character in the sense of a memebr of the team of good guys, but he does appear regularly throughout the entire first series.

There is Avatar: The Last Airbender. There is one character who is blind. She is not one of the main characters, but she will be seen more often in the episodes.
