Within the past 20,000 years, two human Blood Types have experienced successful mutations, and flourished...

Although we remain the same species, Blood Types "A" & "B" which independently mutated from the original BloodType "O", are separate and distinct Blood Types...

"O", "A" & "B" cannot randomly exchange each other's blood by way of a transfusion, and when childbirth is factored in, depending on the RH-factor, often an immune-system injection (to relax it) must be administered, in order for the mother's immune system not to attack the embryo, or vice versa...That's how different the human species already is, from one another!

These Major changes have taken place, probably in only the past 10,000 years...

20,000 years ago, humans were 100% Blood Type "O". Today, we are 46% "O", 39% "A", 11% "B", and 4% "AB"...

On A smaller scale, we can create a new species of fruit flies in a laboratory, in about 3 months, by artificially changing their environment...

Evolution is a long, slow process - and it has been occurring on this planet for billions of years. Humans only evolved within the last 2 million years - depending on what your definition of "human" is. In the last 20,000 years, humans developed overbites and some other traits.

For one creature to "change" into another, you first have to decide what the definition of each creature is. The evolution of a creature occurs along a continuum, and it is pretty arbitrary to say when a creature is one thing or becomes another thing.

I suggest you take a biology or physical anthropology class.

Evolution? Our evolution doesnt stop.It is a very slow process Doesnt need just 10 000 y ..may be does a very little change but to change species from one to antother much more ,much more years .As the climate change, all the little radiation around that we dont feel for NOW ,think of it cell phones ,electricity, all unvisible waves, modyfied food ,detergents that we use in our everyday life ,the noise , the poluted air and many other things that we just dont think of them in our normal lives but they do harm more or less our cells.WE cant see it now but after a million of years then we will be changed for sure, for example : the muscle we use less it doesnt grow as the others we use often. And thats why the change will happen but not suddenly sure we will live in future but who knows where and in what shape of our body.

20,000 years is not an eye blink in the quickest evolutionary processes. Only artificial selection has even intimated that kind of speed. " Quick " in evolution might mean at least 10 to 20 times 20,000 years.

I'm not sure, but I'd have to say no.

In fact, there's no proof that anything ever evolved into anything else. That's the 'theory' part of evolution. The 'fact' part is that in-species evolution has been proven beyond any doubt at all.

Maybe it's time for a new evolutionary theory. I'll call it the Linear Theory. It means that all the life forms started out the same way, but evolved separately (or didn't evolve) to different levels and in different directions, and this is what caused us to have the diversity we see today. It would explain why we can't find certain 'missing links' in the evolutionary story.

dogs have evolved, but not changed, ligers are an evolution and change from two creatures to one. anything 'bred' by humans has evolved pretty much

Never in history since the big bang, or of the creation by God, ( which ever gang you belong to ) has any life form changed from one to another. I'm afraid I cannot give you proof but there are some statements we have to take at face value. bethan is talking rot as the creatures she specifies are mules and cannot breed.
