It could. First determine if you're going to have to borrow the money. If so then you need to include the interest on that loan to determine how much that MBA is really going to cost you.

Now you need to research the industry in which you intend to use your MBA. Compare the salaries of those jobs that you could get now, compared with the salaries in which an MBA would be a major asset. Multiply the differences in the salaries by the number of years you intend to work. This is the benefit of the MBA.

Now compare the figures, if the benefit is greater than the cost (and it really could be), then go for it.

The average student at a top 15 MBA program doubles his salary. So yes -- it is worth the price.

yes. higher education is never wasted if you put it to work for you. With an MBA you put yourself into the 1% of people who can claim that. that means out of a hundred candidates, you put yourself in front of them.

Depends what type of job you want to do when you get out. If you are just going to be a high school teacher, then no. Certain industries require them, others ignore them

Yeah. Much better opportunities. But most people going to those kinds of schools, money is the least of their problems.
