Please consider this as well: If Manning were on another team do you think he would find a way to succeed? If Tom Brady was not in the New England system do you think he would had had as much success as he has had?

I was really hoping that more would address the subquestion what if they were on teams other than the Pats and the Colts? Which QB would survive better under a different coach on a different team? Personally I do think that Brady is a product of Coach Bill's system and that if you were to take Manning and put him in Brady's place on any team under any coach that the result would be the same...a better QB all around. But I asked because I wanted to hear what you think, thank you.

Peyton Manning is the better all-around quarterback. Brady is a product of his own surroundings. Put him on just about any other team in the league and he's an above average QB.

I'm not sure there is a way to say which player is better, but the fact remains that Tom Brady has 3 Super Bowl rings with mediocre weapons on offense to work with and Peyton Manning has 1 Super Bowl ring with phenomenal weapons on offense. With Brady finally getting the same type of weapons on offense and giving us a chance to see, Brady is clearly an extremely talented QB and could be the best. HOWEVER....I respect what Peyton Manning is able to do at the line with reading defenses and calling the right plays for the right situations. Brady does this also, but something about how Manning does it seems more precise...

I think Peyton Manning is the better QB....but Tom Brady is accustomed to winning the big game...Flip a coin, you can't really go wrong.

(Eventually we're going to solve this question if it gets asked 3432 more times...we can hope.)

Brady by far.

Reason #1: Besides Brady, name 8 people of the Super Bowl 36 team?

Reason #2: Manning has had better players and won only 1 Super Bowl.

Reason #3: Brady has won 3 Super Bowls with no name players.

Reason #4: Brady has won 2 Super Bowl MVP's.

Reason #5: The Patriots Organization does not change the rules to benifit their team. Colts changed the rules cause the Pats DB were playing more physical the the WR.

Reason #6: At least Robert Kraft (Owner of the Patriots), does not hit interns like the Colts owner does.

Stats smart, Manning for the reason that Brady is coming off an injury, yet Manning will lower back fold interior the playoffs, like he does each and every 12 months. Manning is particularly puffed up and is continuously uncovered during the playoffs. in the event that they swapped communities, the Colts could have a extra ideal shot at going deep into the submit season, as against that early go out that they continuously look to have.

Yes,agree T Brady in the better QB.Especially since he has 3 rings to 1 ring for Peyton.Brady is also having the better season this year.Brady is definitely my early season pick as MVP even though the Pats have 7 more regular season games to play.

The 2 of them without a question are the 2 best QB's in the league. Their resume speaks for itself. As far as the best QB i would have to go with Peyton not just because I am a Colts fan either. Manning is the only QB in the league to use the no huddle offense. Why is this??? He is the only QB in the league with such talent to be able to do this correctly. I know Carson Palmer tried it for a bit but could not do it that is why you don't see them do it anymore. In order for this to be accomplished you have to be able to read the defense, identify the rusher (i know you have heard him say for example 52 is the mike) thats what he's doing when he says that, and pretty much know what the defense is going to do in order for you to be able to use that against the other team and he is a mastermind in doing so. You can't even substitute players because his field awareness is so great, try it and its 5 yards everytime. His accuracy, his ability to "thread the needle" as they say is probably the biggest and most overlooked aspect of his game. He's tremendous at getting the ball to his receivers, and his vision is incredible!!! He scans the field like no other in the league. I know there is the big argument about him and Brady which is better, but if you would happen to take Brady off of NE, you could still win some games (not as many) but NE could still win. If you were to take Manning off of INDY they would be done. Not only is Manning a bigger factor on the field but look what he does off the field as well. He helps all the children, has the Peyback Foundation, and even has a children's hospital named after him where he spends alot of his extra time. If you want to look at superbowl wins then you would have to go with Brady, but if you want to look at everyday contributions on and off the field than Peyton is far superior to any other QB in the league!!! Either way you look at it both are the 2 best QB's of their generation and future hall of famers.

Brady...all the numbers support the fact that he is the better QB.
There's really no other fair way to compare the two as no one knows how either would fare on other teams. The fact that tthey are on such great teams shows you how good they are, if they were on bad teams it would reflect badly on them too so...
