I used to own a 5mw green laser and the beam could clearly be seen at night. What about a blue laser?

Green due to the frequency of green light. Even red lasers are brighter than blue lasers.

Blue is definitelly more visible than red or orange, but green is more visible than blue. I'm 99% sure green is the most powerful type of laser.

For equal power, green is more visible than blue. An interesting bit of physics of vision is a thing called the chromaticity diagram, which can do all sorts of tricks, including answering questions such as this one.

Green laser because green light has a lower frequency than blue light, and our eyes is more sensitive in lower frequency light.

I really couldnt tell you an exact answer but i would see the green as having a better contrast then the blue.

THe human eye sees green, red and yellow best unless your lazer is really bright and it is really dark you should stick to green.
