Penal-codes should NEVER be *that* cut-n-dry / black-n-white... a clearer definition as to what constitutes a "sexual predator" would be needed. Would that be ANYONE convicted of a sex crime?? (which currently also includes people arrested for indecent exposure (public nudity - intentional or not), public indecency (having sex in your car)... as well as various other "sex" crimes which could be relatively harmless).
And what about those who are simply accused of these crimes ... what if they're convicted but are actually innocent??

Well, lets see. Death is too much a nice option for serial predators. They should live with what they have done in a cell for the rest of their lives without a vital part of their anatomy attached and without the possibility of parole. However, if the offender is a woman, well, we'll cut off her arms so she can't get her hands on a poor innocent child! There is NO excuse for molestation. Hoveryone deserves a chance to "redeem" & "rehabilitate" via counselling, medicine (to supress urges) etc. However, if it fails and the re-offend they need to be locked away forever. All of society need to be protected from such people.

As many people that are falsely accused in the USA, I would have to say no. Just look at all of the innocent people that are being released from long prison sentences because later DNA analysis proves their innocence. America's justice system is the worst in the world. It is grossly full of corruption.

I think that depending on the severity of the offense they should be chemically or surgically castrated and for the more brutal ones execution by sexual torture including but not limited to being ripped, cut or sawn in two starting at the crotch.

I'm inclined to be pretty generous in giving out the death penalty, and such crimes are more than sufficient in my book. But, they are also often hard to prove (the 'he said/she said' thing), and I'd be concerned that more than the usual number of falsely-convicted persons would be subject to capital punishment.

no way and the reason is one of fact........... the D.A.s across the U.S. has made a witch-hunt of sexual offenders. We're not talking old perverts.......I'm seeing in the paper 17,18 year old kids coping out and having a criminal record because their girlfriend was 16? Give me a fricking break! My kids Mom was 16 and I was 19 when we got married......these days I'd be threaten with prison unless.....(again the subject) I copped out for a lesser charge or put my name in the paper as a sexual offender..........

Widely hated offenders but the sentences are somewhat minimal for the crimes. Most people agree....Even in prison they're a challenge. frustrating issue.... Parents should be able to administer the justice with baseball bats in my opinion

Yes i do because a person who has an evil mind will be evil for the rest of their life, so why does the country bother in paying for their food, and jail cells? why not just dispose of those parasites!
