Guliani's platform primarily is contrary to what Pat Robertson has espoused. Guliani is Pro-Choice and supports gay marriage. This is a blatant admission that Pat Robertson is more political than he is a conservative christian. How say you?

Robertson is a good Christian.

I believe that just as much as I believe that being part black means you lack leadership experience.

I think you summed it up perfectly - "more political than conservative Christian."

Robertson has given plenty of lip service to traditional values (particularly opposing gay marriage and abortion). He has even taken it to an extreme saying that 9-11 was God punishing America for allowing homosexuality and internet pornography.

But in endorsing Rudy Giuliani (who affirms gay rights and abortion rights), Pat Robertson has called his own bluff. His endorsement only makes sense because Giuliani is right now the candidate who seems most capable of winning for the Republican party.

Pat Robertson has showed his colors - when it comes to choosing between Power and Principles, Robertson opts for Power!

I never took Robertson seriously, and the Evangelical movment has proven itself irrelevant time and time again.

Maybe if evangelicals wake up, embrace the idea that even if Jesus forgives them, the rest of us are going to judge them based on their choices and actions, learn a little science and stop saying stupid things, and stop falling for the spiel of your Robertsons, Falwells, Haggertys and whatever loon grabs the podium long enough to fan the flames of fanaticism..., maybe then they will be relevant.
