The Constitution of the United States of America gives every American the right to have fire arms. It happens to be the SECOND Right given to American's in our BILL OF RIGHTS. These first ten amendments will will stand for as long as there is a AMERICA, because they are the foundation that this great country was built on. So that being said, if anyone ATTEMPTS to take the firearms of American's; well; let's just say that; that person/government may just be in for one hell of a surprise...

Anyone else think you should all go read your own constitution?

Exactly where do you all miss the point that its a small militia that has the right and not everyone

This was designed to stop the country being taken over by another oppressor. e.g. the British.

Of course people have and will always kill people. Having a gun however removes any thought, skill or ******* clue what it means to take a life. Which just adds to the dream you all seem to be striving for.

Oh and now look who stomps around the world deciding what is best for other countries while taking all their resources for whistles and beads.

The right to keep and bear arms should absolutely be allowed. Think about it, it was the SECOND amendment to the constitution of the united states... That means that the founding fathers found that to be the most important right, next to the freedom of speech and expression. The people who wrote that document were smarter than anybody who walks this planet today, and they intended for us to have that right.

The right to bear arms, is the right that insures our other freedoms. This has been proven time and time again, when the government of any country, took away the people's firearms, next the government took away all their rights.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Or did you miss history class where people have been killing each other for 10,000 years before the gun was invented?

Why not ban bad people? How about this: if you commit a crime with a gun, it is an automatic death sentence. That way the 99.99% of people that own guns and use them properly can keep them; and only the retards that use them for crime will have to give them up.

I don't see why anyone has a right to cut off a poor bear's arms. What would they do with it? Wave it at people?
