Besides that guy on that ESPN Sports Show can't remember the name no other person outside of them and their fan base picked them to do be a winning team. They have the best record of non first place teams. The Titans are way better the predicted contenders Bengals and the falling Broncos. I say the stage is set they embarass the struggling Jaguars and then do the same to a Broncos team that is in a tailspin on national tv matching their amount of wins from last year. The Titans make it out of November unscathed then expect them to get into the Playoffs.

I agree 100%

Vince young is still maturing into a leader on his team, and with the arrest of adam"pacman"Jones, There have not been too many people to look to for leadership on that team.

I think the Titans might shock the world by taking down the so far undefeated Patriots In a Superbowl for the history books.

Football is the best sport ever!

At 6-2 they are surprise but I'd hardly call them a 'good team'. They've been playing very good D, getting turnovers, and scoring on D, while the O has struggled big time. Vince Young has shown he is exactly what the experts were saying he was......a great athlete and a below average NFL QB. They kind of remind me of the Ravens for years when they had the D but no O. Even if they do make the playoffs, and I still doubt that, they would not last long.

They are gaurenteed the playoffs. People say its just because Vince Young carries the team but they also have many other good players like LB- Keith Bullock WR- Roydell Williams LE- Kyle Vanden Bosch DT- Albert Haynesworth etc. Their defense is really good and there offense isn't doing bad. Lendale White can get the yards they need to put it in feild goal range if they can't make it to the touchdown and we all saw Bironas against the texans. 8 feild goals one game. They only lost to the colts by two points and they could have won that if Vince Young held on the ball instead of pitching it to an offensive linemen. Overall I can see them going far this year even though they aren't the most talked about team

I'm a true Redskin fan but I've always had a soft spot for the Titans since they came up 1 yrd shy of a superbowl victory. That was heartbreaking. This year, they have a vicious defense (#1 in the league i believe) which will take any team far. If the skins are out of it, I'm routing for the Titans. Peace.

They are a big surprise but it looks like the defense is doing all the work. How many games have they won without throwing a TD. If they do get to the playoffs they'll get spanked by all the AFC playoff teams who all put up a tonne of points on offense.

Not to take away from what their doing. Great defense but the Vince looks a lot like another guy, I think his name was Vick.

I agree. At the beginning of the season, I picked the Colts, Patriots, Chargers, and Broncos to be at the top of the AFC. The Titans being up there is a pretty big surprise.

I actually expected them to be this good (before Pacman got hurt) I figured they'd have a little bit of a blemish from his absence but I guess not, right?

It's just a shame that Vince Young isn't looking like the player he was last year...he's struggling a little bit. Sophomore slump?

They'll be in the playoffs if their defense can keep it up.

i expect them in the playoffs... our division is the best!! i find myself rooting for our division now.. (even though i cant stand tennessee or the jags)... i hope that titans and jags get the two wild card spots...
i see..
colts 15-1
titans 11-5 or 12-4
jags 10-6
texans 8-8 or 9-7

Go Colts!!

well lets see, they have a better possession then their opponents.
great in sacks
great in total yrds. offense
good runshin yrds.

need to work on 4th and 3rd down conversion though
and their overall schedule hasn't been that bad despite the Colts game. They still have a lot to work on if they want to go to the post season.
