What are some or most factors affecting water pollution?

It is mostly the factories spewing out dirty water into the system.

It's a combination of a few factors.
1/ The corrupt officials who allow pollutants to be dumped into the rivers,
2/ The ordinary Filipino who lives along the rivers edge and uses it as his own private toilet and waste dump, and
3/ Every other Filipino and visitor who throws his rubbish onto the street so that it gets swept down the drain and into the river.

1.People living beside the river/water (like in Pasig River, the residents poo at the water)
2. Factories who throw their chemical wastes in water
3. Uneducated people who just throw everything at the water
4. Dynamite fishing
