I think we should. Nonviolent protest is a right given to us in America. People don't just burn flags to burn flags, it's a cry of "There's something going on and it's not right, we need someone to listen to us, and this is an extreme measure to obtain people's ears." Disrespectful? It can be, but you can't bar a freedom due to the possibility it offends.

Yes I think we should have the right. I feel that it is within the rights of free speech to do so. It does not provide any immediate danger to anyone (unless you are doing it in such a way as to actually cause it to ignite something else on fire). I personally feel that we should allow as much types of speech as possible, whether you abhor them or not. Restricting rights, while necessary in some cases, should be a last step.
That said I don't plan on burning the US flag any time soon.

Yes I do. It is the ultimate irony to suspend a freedom in and around our ultimate symbol of freedom. I don't know why people fear this, for those of us who love our country when we see our flag burn the hurt it causes our hearts just reaffirms our own patrioticism in the most potent way and reawakens us to how much we love this country and how absolutely blessed we are to be a citizen of this nation. For those who don't hold our country in esteem this act is simply a byproduct of their unfortunate misplaced hate and impotence.

You know to burn the flag is to become provoking and disrespectful. so no its wrong no matter whose flag it is. We all love our country and the flag represents our pride and our faith and our home. I am a Canadian and I would not like to see anyone burn my flag or yours. It is a sign of aggression to war.

Yes, it is our right as free people to do so. Flags aren't real things I think you should be able to burn it if the moods sets you right.
