Well you add in Post Tramatic Stress Disorder, shell shock, the chemcials that we use that could cause health problems and everything else. It no wonder that the US Veterans are having problems readjusting to life outside the military.

Of course we can always rely on the people that sends our brave troops to action to support them when they get home. By the ways did I ever tell you about the bridge I own in Brooklyn.

Supporting the troops means giving them all the support they deserve. It shouldn't be cut off just because they came home injured and depressed. It is also a fact that this been going on for a very long time. Just like the 9-11 heroes being denied healthcare and forgotten about, the vets go to war and do whatever they have to do because someone orders them to but when they get back all torn up and abused then they are discarded and forgotten.

What is wrong with Americans when they selfishly demand these young men and women's services to defend them and then turn around and ignore them once they come home?

Aside from people being responsible for their own affairs, the problem isn't republicans not supporting the troops. The problem is dems, who vote against budget increases for veteran care, without funding how can we help them...

Heres an idea, why don't you adopt a vet and let him live in your house, prove your support....

Its no wonder enlisting in the service is not on most younger Americans "to-do list". That fact along with the denial of health care in many cases is not helping the republicans at all, I would think! lol. How are we gonna make a difference somewhere else if we are at full time war against each other in our own country!

Republicans don’t like to talk or think about the troops after they get home. The fact that many of the veterans are suffering emotional and mental illness is irrelevant to their thinking since the Republicans are primarily concerned that the veterans might be looking for “handouts.”

Homeless U.S. Veterans, they have existed since the United States has had a military. Now, when did this become an issue exclusive to Republicans? Have there never been Democrat administrations? Yes, I know that you need to have some way to attack Republicans because you are too blind to realize that not all Republicans are so far on the right that they meet the far left in their position of not caring about anybody.

But, what you fail to realize in your feeble attempt to discredit all Republicans is that Democrat administrations have ignored our veterans as much as Republican administrations have, and your feeble attempt just places in the camp of the far left that is nothing but a mirror image of those you chose to hate.

All that being said, what are you doing to help? Other than spreading hate on here?

You are so right.

The Republicans care nothing about the troops, they send them off to die for the Bush Agenda.

But they are unwilling to support the troops, when they come back from war.

If these soldiers become homeless, the Republicans will say it is because they don't want to work. I hope all veterans can see through the Republican lies.

Yes, that is the republican version of "support the troops".

Just like when bush sent the troops into iraq under-manned, under-equipped and without an exit strategy!

You mean the Democrats. They are the ones that cut funding for the troops, they are the ones that go the funerals of vets and protest, they are the ones who spit on the troops when they came home, they are the ones that have spread lies about the troops, they are the ones that are unAmerican and they would rather spend our tax dollars on benefits for illegals, sex ed, etc.
