dump it in and then tip your shoes up and down to get it all over . Then you turn your shoe upside down and bang on it to get out all the extras.

Sprinkle it in and shake it around until it coats the entire inside of the shoe. Let them sit over night and knock out all the baking soda. Reapply if they are still nasty. If you have somewhere to put them outside where the critters or the moist air won't get them, all the better.
Get some foot powder that you can leave in while you wear the shoes from the time they are new if this is a continued problem. Getting a professional pedicure can help.

Open a box of baking soda, Pick up shoe with one hand, and turn box over opening of shoe and shake, the baking soda will fall into the shoe. Next step, Put down the baking soda box, and shake shoe with both paws to evenly distribute the soda through out the shoe. Repeat process for the other shoe.

Sprinkle 1 tbsp of baking soda inside the shoe and put wet flour on the bottom. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. You now have a delectable fillet of sole.

Sprinkle a very little in your shoes & shake each shoe a little, so as to distribute the baking soda evenly. If you're using baking soda for odor control, you may want to use boric acid. It comes in a jar or used to, & can be lightly sprinkled into shoes, socks, & stockings, to absorb foot odor. It works!!!

New box of baking soda & poke holes in the top near one end & sprinkle some inside shoes; tip shoes over & tap excess out.
Or
sprinkle inside your socks, put socks onto feet.
When washing the socks, turn them inside out. The baking soda works well in your laundry load.

do you mean to stop them from squeaking when you walk?
life up the sole and pour some in the toebox area and let it settle in
if your not, just dab it in little by little, not too much white powder will explode every time you step lol
