All of the above.
These southern social conservatives used to be solid Dem supporters under FDR and even JFK. So that excuse that they left the party over economic issues does not fly.
They left the party because Dems started to support civil rights. They first left in 1948 because Truman integrated the military and started to leave for sure in 1964 after Mr Conservative Republican Barry Goldwater opposed civil rights. Civil rights was the issue in the 1964. Not abortion. Not gay marriage. Civil rights.

Any one with half a brain can see how silly your generalizations are - about the opposite of another poster who stated that liberals were all bed wetting, anti-war crybabies with no grasp on reality.
These are just the type of stereotyping that help divide this nation even further.

I am certain of my arguments when speaking to liberals and welcome the chance to do so.
Your multiple choice questions seem to overcompensate for some insecurities of your own.

They've been conditioned by Cheney to wet their pants every time they hear the word "terrorism" and as a result of having to wear Depends around now, they are very insecure, embarassed and self-loathing - and it shows in the way they cower and tremble when attempting to defend their master's political positions.
