I think we should keep the red--lots of bloodshed going around..and definately green...we're a greedy country..

I don't think we should change it at all. Why after all these years would we change the colors?
Furthermore, we don't really have any more bloodshed than any other country. This nation was built on war, if there hadn't been bloodshed then you would be speaking a different language, there would still be slaves, and you wouldn't have half the rights that you enjoy as an American today.
If you don't like it then move somewhere else and whine about stuff there and see where that gets you. Most likely killed.

I disagree that the US on a whole is a greedy country just because some government officials might be greedy. Until we as a world can find a way to keep peace, there will most likely always be bloodshed. So on your terms, basically every country should have red in their flag.

I spent two years in Viet Nam fighting for the rights of This and all other countries,and RED WHITE and BLUE are the colors of My Flag. If you don't like the colors of the Flag go somewhere else where they have a (cute) flag that you may like.I admit that You have the right to say what You want, but I don't have to agree or like it.

The United States flag is an internationally recognized symbol and an embodiment of American pride and morals, so it should never be changed. There is just too much connotation with the flag and too much history behind it.

I believe that originally the colors were taken from the French flag.
Standing for liberty, equality, and fraternity.
Crazy notions aren't they.
But we're supposed to hate the French?

My Papa and Uncle fought in two different wars for that same flag. And we have thousands of men and wmen over there fighting and dying daily. I think if its up to ANYBODY if we change it, they get 1st choice. ANd lemme tell ya this, they won't wanna change it.

No, I think it should stay as it is. Of course, if someone gets offended because of what colors it is, I'm sure some moron will sue the US government to change it to something less offensive.

we should keep it. Don't know about the white though, we r not very peaceful, we r always picking fights against other countries
