Once you get your poems copywritten...you can create a book of works that you can sell or a pamphlet that you can hand out...with a picture of you and 2-3 poems, with a lil something about yourself. Or you can go through the headache of trying to find an editor. I would suggest that if you have any connection to any university out there...hit up the english department. Build a relationship with someone there....they can over look your pieces and provide feedback. A lot of professors, especially in english have publisher persons in their circles...If you are really serious about being out there use all venues you can. That means, create your books or pamphlets, use the university, go to open mic joints, try out for the poetry jam, Hold poetry joints at your house if possible....get your work out there...develop your own site and create business cards....

Hope this helps

Write on!!!

PoetBay is a poetry webpage where you can publish your poems and short stories.
