Based on heights of the bases of the clouds, they have been classified as low clouds, medium clouds and high clouds.
Low clouds are cumulus, stratus, stratocumulus and cumulonimbus,
Medium clouds are altostratus and altocumulus,
High clouds are cirrus, cirrocumulus and cirrostratus
Nimbus clouds which give continuous rain are usually associated with another type of cloud ;example:- nimbostratus, cumulonimbus etc.

The four main cloud groups are stratus(blanket like clouds), cirrus (wispy clouds), nimbus (storm clouds), and cumulus (poofy clouds). You can also combine their names to more accurately describe the clouds (i.e. strato-nimbus, strato cumulus etc.) Hope this helps!

nimbus or nimbulus, columinus...I am not sure if I'm spelling them right, but why are you asking us instead of doing it on your own at ask.com or google.com?

Go look on those two cites and do it yourself.
